Shannon Pfau

Registered Occupational Therapist

I am an Occupational Therapist that specializes in Mental Health. I graduated from Saint Catherine University with a Masters degree in Occupational Therapy and a Bachelors in Occupational Science. I have been working as an OT since 2016 with experience in both Inpatient and Outpatient mental health settings mainly working with adults or adolescents. I have written proposals for Sensory Rooms and have developed evidenced based groups and interventions. I take passion in being a Fieldwork Supervisor for OT students. I am a wife and mother of two young wild boys. I often spend my free time cuddling with my dog, writing, reading, or doing arts/crafts. Prior to becoming an OT, I worked as a direct support specialist to adults with developmental disabilities, care coordinator at a home health agency, and coached competitive cheerleading. My special areas of interest within OT include Sensory Integration, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Trauma. I particularly enjoy helping young adults/adults regain independence and participate in meaningful activities.
