Kaitlyn
Hello, I’m glad you are here!
I grew up in West Fargo, ND. I obtained my undergraduate degree at University of Minnesota Moorhead and my graduate degree at the University of North Dakota. While in school I had the opportunity to travel abroad, which flourished my love for learning about different cultures. Over the last 8 years I have worked at a variety of agencies and populations providing clinical and nonclinical services.
I have a passion for walking beside someone in their time of need and letting you be the driver in your healing journey. I enjoy working with adolescents and young adults. I take pride in creating a safe environment for you to express yourself and to make our time together not feeling like “therapy”, but rather a place we can grow together.
In my spare time I like to spend time with my dog, reading, traveling, creating random art projects, and thrifting!
I look forward to being a part of your healing journey!
What does creativity in therapy mean to me?
It means providing an environment for one to feel like they can be themselves and open their mind to the possibilities of their healing journey. Therapy is often looked at being a place where there is very little out of the box thinking or fun, but that is not the case here. Incorporating creativity within therapy encourages the expression of each person and having a fun, while growing as an individual.
