Meet Emily M.

Emily Monson is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. She obtained her masters degree in clinical mental health counseling from MSUM. She has a background in crisis psychotherapy, personality disorders, schizophrenia, depression, bipolar, PTSD, anxiety, and co-occurring disorders (substance use and serious mental illness). She enjoys authenticity and meeting people where they are at in their journey without judgment.

Emily utilizes a person centered, holistic approach and is passionate about tailoring therapy to match client needs. She is trained in multiple modalities including Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy. She enjoys working with adults navigating trauma, depression, anxiety, personality disorders, grief, and significant life transitions. Emily is an LGBTQIA+ affirming clinician and an ally. She is dedicated to creating a safe space where individuals can be their authentic selves and discuss the things that are important to them!

When Emily is not at work, she loves spending time with her husband watching movies or cooking. She enjoys listening to rock music, sculpting, drawing, and gardening.
